When it comes to Halloween costumes, the possibilities are absolutely endless whether you choose to purchase a ready-made design or make one yourself. If you haven’t already made any plans on who or what you’re going to be this year, perhaps an HVAC-inspired costume will be to your liking. Here are a few quick ideas:
HVAC Worker
If you choose to purchase a costume, you can find a variety of designs for service technicians, especially plumbers and electricians. These costumes often utilize accessories like toy pipes or plungers to complete the ensemble. Or you can spice things up a little and go as an electrician who’s received a mild shock or a plumber who’s experienced a sewer accident. Yuck!
Dryer Vent Costumes
Strangely enough, dryer vents are one of the most common accessories for several types of costumes. They can be used as the legs of the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz, as the mechanical arms of Dr. Octopus from Spider-Man, or can be placed over your whole body to look like Slinky from the Toy Story movies. The only thing we wouldn’t suggest is to dress up as an actual dryer vet.
Pet Outfits
Don’t forget to include your pets this year. You might be surprised at how many costumes are available for pets that are centered around HVAC workers such as the aforementioned plumbers and electricians. You can even have a little fun with it and dress him or her up as Nintendo’s Mario. He’s a plumber, too!
Fortnite Accessories
This year, you’ll likely see a ton of costume designs based on the popular video game. Whether you design your own or buy one from a store, you can make your own clinger (one of the weapons from the game) with the use of a plunger. Trust us – your kids will love carrying this around with them!
